Part extensions / USER Parts / additional AMADEUS modules

Even more playing fun thanks to even more sounds that can be played simultaneously - register without limits!

An arrangement thrives on changing instruments or instrumentations. Sometimes the strings are in the foreground, sometimes the winds, sometimes a single solo instrument, the next moment the full orchestra with all sound groups. And “all around” an instrument plays an interjection here, another a secondary melody there...

In order to be able to arrange your music on your organ or keyboard in a variety of ways, you need flexible registration options that allow you to distribute and play as many sounds as possible simultaneously and flexibly on the manuals and pedals.

BÖHM organs have always been at the forefront of this discipline! The new SEMPRA generation continues this tradition and even significantly expands the possibilities: even the compact SEMPRA SE20 in its standard configuration, including drawbar and MIDI parts, offers up to 17 (!) sounds/parts on the manuals and pedals. For explanation: A “part” is a playing area (e.g. Upper 1, Upper 2, Upper 3, etc.) to which you can assign a sound and various playing parameters that should apply to that sound.  The top SEMPRA models SE70...SE100 even offer up to 13 (!) parts/sounds in the upper and lower manuals, and up to 5 in the pedal and 4 in the solo manual of the SE100! No other organ generation on the market offers anything comparable.!

You can distribute all these parts as you like across the corresponding manuals or the pedal via freely definable split zones (key zones), overlapping them (as a “layer”) or in their own keyboard areas (split), and you can customize many other parameters for the piece of music you are playing. This is how your large orchestra is created with many individual voices – creative organ playing reaches a new dimension! And all this can be played live without any tricks or backing tracks.!

But there is even more to it: the number of parts available in the various SEMPRA basic models can be further increased by model-specific Part Extensions or so-called User Parts. Some of the available part extensions include an additional AMADEUS sound module for the model in question, so that all added parts can be “supplied” with sound.

Part extensions / additional AMADEUS sound modules

There are various part extensions available for the SEMPRA models SE10...SE60, with which you can further increase the number of available parts/instruments per manual or in the pedal. Part extension 1 for the SE10...SE40 models is activated via a software installation

For the SE20...SE60 models, a 2nd AMADEUS sound module including part extension is available as a further expansion stage, which provides the necessary channels in the sound generation of your SEMPRA and at the same time doubles the polyphony and the number of simultaneously available AMADEUS effect DSPs.  At least 2 AMADEUS modules are also a prerequisite for meaningful use of the quadrophonic option (Art.-Nr. 41157).

The SEMPRA models SE70, SE80, SE100 are already equipped with 2, 3 or 4 AMADEUS Pro-D sound modules at the factory. These models can be equipped with a maximum of 5 AMADEUS sound modules (e.g. a separate system for the accompaniment/drums).

Further details on the possible part extensions and additional AMADEUS modules, depending on the organ model, can be found in the price list. We would also be happy to advise you personally on all the options for your SEMPRA.

User Parts

In addition to the model-specific part extensions, 8 freely configurable additional parts can be added via the User Parts 1-8 (item no. 41128) and User Parts 9-16 (item no. 41129) extensions. The use of these parts is completely free, as all MIDI input and output parameters are also freely adjustable. The use of these parts, e.g. as additional manual parts for the internal AMADEUS tone generation, naturally requires sufficient AMADEUS equipment in the SEMPRA so that the necessary free MIDI channels are available. We will be happy to advise you on further details for your instrument.

You can find more information on the possible part extensions and additional AMADEUS sound modules for the various SEMPRA models in our price list.
